Your Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a
Senior Frontend Software Engineer
with 7–8 years of professional experience to join our distributed engineering team across Europe. This is a role with a hybrid working model. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, user-friendly web applications that power our client ´s main website and its mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver intuitive and high-performing user interfaces.
Own the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using
React
,
TypeScript
, and
Java
.
Work with technologies such as
GraphQL
,
Node.js
,
Kubernetes
,
SQL/NoSQL databases
, and
AWS
.
Participate in daily releases and contribute to a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Continuously improve UI/UX, performance, and accessibility of Viator's web applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
4–6 years of frontend development experience, with strong proficiency in
React
and
TypeScript
.
Solid understanding of
Java
and backend integration.
Experience with
GraphQL
,
Node.js
, and cloud infrastructure (preferably
AWS
).
Proven track record of delivering production-grade software in agile environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience in travel tech or consumer-facing platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and daily release cycles.
