This platform processes millions of transactions across major sporting events, serving as the backbone for all customer-facing betting products.In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional product development teams to evolve the foundational services, APIs, and workflows that enable markets, pricing, settlement, and event management at scale. You will partner with engineering, trading, and product pillars to ensure the platform remains robust, adaptable, and innovative, supporting new product features, market expansions, and evolving regulatory and commercial needs.This is a high-impact role requiring both technical fluency and product strategy expertise — you'll define the long-term platform vision, prioritize initiatives that increase reliability and flexibility, and ensure Fan Duel continues to deliver seamless, high-volume betting experiences to customers worldwide.What You'll Be DoingIndependently own and deliver initiative-level outcomes over quarters, driving execution across multiple features or streams.Recommend strategies and propose features that address complex customer problems aligned with business goals.Define success criteria for initiatives; proactively gather insights through analytics, research, and competitive trends.Lead shaping activities (e.g., spikes, usability testing, A/B tests) to de-risk initiatives and refine solutions.Select appropriate delivery approach (experiment, MVP, date-driven) to achieve outcomes.Manage cross-team dependencies; communicate scope changes, costs, and business impacts to stakeholders.Facilitate collaborative workshops (ideation, unpacking, requirements gathering) and ensure clear action plans.Build technical fluency in product area; apply feasibility insights during solutioning.What You'll BringProven ability to lead initiative-level product work with measurable outcomes.Strong analytical skills; comfortable defining metrics, analyzing data, and recommending pivots.Skilled in facilitating workshops, design sprints, and cross-team planning.Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution ownership.Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, gained through research and cross-functional collaboration.High-level technical knowledge; ability to understand trade-offs and partner effectively with Engineering.This is what you should have.
