Job Description:
The Senior Category Manager will lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to optimize global supply chain operations. This role involves category management, supplier relationship management, contract management, performance management, and risk management.
This position requires a strategic thinker who can analyze trends in the market and identify innovative opportunities for cost savings and service improvements. The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international team environment and in a complex matrix organization.
The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for performing procurement reporting and data analysis to propose and execute cost/service improvement opportunities. They will also manage relationships with relevant stakeholders to identify and prioritize sourcing needs to support the development of annual strategies and plans to achieve category goals.
Responsibilities:
