We believe service is of paramount importance, therefore we provide a premium service to all clients, combining a depth of specialist expertise and market insight.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced, commercially driven FX Business Development professional to lead our expansion into the Portuguese market.This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage in a new region, taking full ownership of building and growing Magna's presence locally. You will be responsible for driving revenue, developing client relationships, and establishing a strong foothold in the market.This role is ideally suited to someone with FX experience and an existing network, or a highly capable business developer with the drive and ability to build a market from the ground up.What You'll Be Doing- Driving new business across Portugal through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building - Building and developing a portfolio of corporate and private clients - Leveraging existing relationships or creating new partnerships with intermediaries such as real estate brokers, lawyers, and business setup firms - Identifying client needs and delivering tailored FX solutions - Owning the full sales cycle from lead generation through to deal execution - Onboarding new clients in line with compliance and KYC requirements - Maintaining accurate records of activity, pipeline, and performance in CRM - Working closely with internal teams including Sales Support and Finance - Playing a key role in shaping strategy and growth within a newly established marketWhat We're Looking For- Proven experience within FX sales or currency exchange - Existing client relationships or book of business highly advantageous - Strong business development capability with a track record of winning new business - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a market - Commercially driven with a target-focused approach - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Fluent in English and PortugueseAdditional Information- Opportunity to lead and build a new market for Magna Financial - High-growth, entrepreneurial environment - Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential - Full ownership of your region and client base - Clear progression as the business continues to scale internationallyIf you're looking for an opportunity to take ownership, build something from the ground up, and play a key role in a growing international business, we'd love to hear from you.Discover what others say about us: Read our reviews on Trustpilot
