About Our Backend Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and build end-to-end web solutions using modern technology stacks
* Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, shopfloor consultants, data scientists, and frontend engineers to deliver high-quality features
* Use your experience in microservices architecture to design, implement, test, deploy, and operate applications
* Troubleshoot problems and restore faulty applications
* Stay current with industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
* Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and cloud platforms (AWS)
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java or Kotlin)
* Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform)
* Experience with version control systems (Git)
* Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
* Experience deploying applications using Docker or Kubernetes
* Understanding of message queuing systems (SQS, Kafka)
* Fluency in English
* Additional qualifications: experience in IIoT, Scrum/Kanban, end-to-end testing, automated testing, security topics, building robust systems
