Job Description:
1. Coordinating the below tasks of the technical department
2. Take measurements
3. Creating quotations
4. Material breakdown
5. On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
6. Create viability
7. Preparation of contracts
8. Managing contractors
9. Understand the implications of health and safety regulations
10. Previous experience with façade works is critical – structural steel, curtain wall, skylight, metal works, etc.
11. Site visits, assessments, and projections for future work
12. Travelling might be required at times (expenses covered)
13. Innovation in the product line (creation of new system)
14. Working closely in conjunction with marketing (going for technical meetings, presentations, creating marketing tools)
15. Other duties as assigned
Skills Required for the Role:
1. Must have an Engineering/Architectural/Quantity Surveyor background
2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word)
3. Must be able to produce 2D/3D drawings
4. Experience and understanding of window systems and composition, roofing solutions, partitions, curtain wall, cladding, automatic door, and handrails
5. Must have experience in estimating
6. Experience in the aluminum and glass industry for a minimum of 5 years
