Technical Project Manager (Product Lifecycle / Embedded System)Location: Eindhoven region (Netherlands)Employment Type: Full-timeContract Type: Long-term (with potential for permanent employment)Relocation support availableAbout the Role:Are you ready to take full ownership of complex technical products throughout their lifecycle?We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who thrives in a high-tech environment where hardware and software come together, and where your decisions directly impact product performance, cost, and long-term success.In this role, you are not just managing timelines.You are responsible for guiding products through their entire lifecycle, from introduction to maturity and phase-out, ensuring they remain competitive, reliable, and scalable.Why This Role Stands Out:- You don't just deliver projects, you own products long-term - You operate at the intersection of engineering, operations, and strategy - You influence decisions that directly impact performance, cost, and scalability - You work in a company where technology and manufacturing are deeply integratedWhat You'll Do:- Own a product (or product group) across its full lifecycle (NPI → ramp-up → sustain → EOL) - Drive improvements in quality, cost, manufacturability, and supply robustness (QLTC) - Lead cross-functional teams across R&D, operations, supply chain, and quality - Balance trade-offs between performance, lead time, cost, and availability - Coordinate engineering changes, redesigns, and lifecycle optimisations - Define and manage lifecycle planning, roadmaps, and stage-gate processes - Identify risks (technical, supply chain, cost) and proactively mitigate them - Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers on long-term product strategyWhat We're Looking For:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar) - 7+ years of experience in: /"Technical Project Management/", OR /"Product Lifecycle Management (PLM / LCM)/" - Experience in embedded systems, electronics, or complex hardware/software environments - Strong understanding of full product lifecycle (NPI → sustain → EOL) - Experience working in cross-functional environments (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing) - Familiarity with: Stage-gate / lifecycle governance, Engineering change management (ECR/ECO), Continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma mindset) - Strong decision-making skills, able to manage trade-offs and take ownership - Hands-on, proactive mindset, you drive progress and don't wait for direction - Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) - EU work authorization or willingness to relocate (visa support possible for non-EU candidates)We Offer:- Long-term contract (38 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment. - Monthly gross salary: €5,500 – €7,000 (based on experience and education). - 30 paid vacation days + paid public holidays. - Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually. - Travel reimbursement. - Relocation support (if applicable), including: - Assistance with first housing - Relocation bonus - Support with BSN, banking, insurance, and onboarding - Work permit and visa assistance (if applicable). - Personal guidance from Xelvin and access to a strong technical network in the Netherlands.Want to know more about this opportunity?
