Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is seeking a Business Developer for Intellectual Property (IP) Assets and a Pre-Award Grant Manager to join the team of the Automatics Lab (LAS).
IPNlas is a reference in the development of applied technology for telehealth, specifically in AI & Robotics for Healthcare, Telemedicine and Telerehabilitation solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Scouting for new business opportunities related to the Lab main technology assets by researching potential customers and analyzing funding opportunities;
- Support the concept development, writing and submission of funding applications related with the Lab main technology assets;
* Cooperation with the different departments of the institution during all stages of application;
* Manage the Lab IP valorization process in the different stages of technology development;
- Contribute to the development of the RTD strategy, in line with the institutional strategy and funding opportunities available;
* Build and maintain communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners and customers;
- Maintain CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) to track progress and performance metrics;
- Represent the organization at match-making events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish connections;
* Participation in national and international network meetings and events.

Qualifications:
* MSc in Electrotechnical or Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Sciences, Health Economics or any related topics;
* Proven experience in supporting and leading the preparation of funding grant applications for health innovation;
* Familiar with European funding programs Horizon Europe (or previous FPs), EIT-Health, DEP, THCS, Interreg, Eureka (more than 2 years of experience);
* Experience in business development
* Proficient in English and Portuguese;
