Procurement Strategy Specialist
The Procurement Category Manager for Facilities plays a pivotal role in developing and executing procurement strategies for all facility-related categories.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform Spend Analysis to identify strategic savings opportunities and drive business value.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies for facilities management, encompassing maintenance, repair, operations, and capital projects.
* Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure seamless delivery.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.
* Monitor market trends and conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
* Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, while continuously improving processes to optimize efficiency.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and deliver cost savings, demonstrating expertise in supply chain optimization.
* Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings to senior management, utilizing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on facilities management.
* Fluent in English.
* Fluent/Comfortable in German.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions.
