We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Desktop Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Providing second-level technical support for desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripheral issues
* Diagnosing and resolving advanced technical issues escalated from the L1 support team
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software applications, and system updates
* Performing root cause analysis to identify recurring technical problems and develop solutions
* Assisting with network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN
* Collaborating with IT team members on projects, upgrades, and implementations
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed, issues, and resolutions using our ticketing system
* Providing remote support and troubleshooting for users working from home or in the field
* Training and mentoring junior support technicians as needed
* Ensuring compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and best practices
* Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment
