HR Manager
for a client located in
Paredes
.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day professional HR support and policy administration across all phases of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and performance management.
This role also provides HR business partnership support in areas such as organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management. The role is also responsible for overseeing and continuously improving the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and engaging integration experience in the site.
The position supports multiple manufacturing sites — directly in Portugal and France— applying HR best practices and strong knowledge of internal business processes to enhance HR services and organizational effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR Manager supports the business in the following areas:
* Recruitment and staffing
* Compensation and benefits planning
* Performance management
* Employee wellbeing and engagement
* Development and implementation of HR procedures and policies
* Employee and labor relations
* Strategic workforce planning
* Talent management and development
* Health & Safety support, monitoring compliance related to Health & Safety training in coordination with HSE teams
* Acting as the HR focal point during audits (ITAF, ISO, labor inspections, and internal corporate audits) and workforce metrics.
* Preparing required HR evidence and reports for auditors
* Identifying training needs in coordination with department managers, Preparing the annual training plan, ensuring mandatory, legal, and certification-related training is planned and tracked.
Requirements:
* Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
* Relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in a
manufacturing or multi-site environment for 4 years
* English:
Required (professional level)
* French:
Optional, but highly desirable (considered a significant asset for the role)
* Between 4-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
