Position OverviewRetail Consult is recruiting a Quality Assurance Practice Lead to join our Delivery team in Portugal/Brazil.
We specialize in technology solutions for retail, providing strategy, implementation, training and support to clients worldwide.What We Are Offering- Opportunity to grow in a passionate international company- Work with best-in-breed methodologies, tools, and techniques- Training, mentoring and talent development programs- Full compensation package including health insurance and mobile allowance- Career evolution and flexible working hours- Extra days off and a well-being program- Partnerships with local businessesWhat You'll Be Doing- Lead internal initiatives to enhance QA methodology with tools and techniques (automation testing, continuous testing, shift-left, AI-assisted testing, user-centric testing, reusable components)- Serve as Test Manager/Coordinator on comprehensive end-to-end Oracle Retail solutions for large transformation programs- Define Test Strategy and Approach for multi-release programs to guarantee overall solution testing- Design test plans from a business-process perspective- Coordinate entry criteria, daily reports, readiness checks, issue status, and Go/No Go meetings for each test phase- Manage System, Integration, End-to-End, and User Acceptance test phases according to the project plan, overseeing internal and external teams- Report weekly status to internal and customer leadership and participate in key decision meetings as QA representative- Coordinate testers to write test cases and follow up on test execution- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects and teams- Contribute to the evolution of the company's QA strategy and promote current QA trendsWhat We Are Looking For- 8–15 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance (test planning, execution, management)- Experience coordinating QA teams in IT projects- Experience with test automation tools and strong understanding of automation techniques- Proficiency in English (mandatory)What Would Be a Plus- Certifications in QA tools and methodologies- Knowledge of SQL for database validation- Experience with Oracle Retail applications- Proficiency in Spanish, French, or GermanIf you think your profile matches our requirements and you are looking for an experience that offers opportunity, growth, balance, and a feeling of value, apply to this job by submitting your CV at /.
