Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed assessments of current production flows, yields, and labor utilization to uncover efficiency gaps.
* Design and implement solutions to optimize line balancing, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
* Apply lean manufacturing principles and time studies to drive sustainable performance improvements.
* Provide expertise and hands-on support to factory maintenance teams, local engineering team, and plant management.
* Act as a key connector between factories, helping to standardize best practices, foster cross-site learning, and identify opportunities for network-wide improvement.
* Support data-driven decision making through analysis of operational KPIs, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ERP/MES systems.
* Support a culture of continuous improvement by providing coaching and building capability in local teams.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
* 3–5 years' experience in floor-based engineering roles within food processing or high-volume manufacturing.
* Proven track record of improving yield and labor productivity using time studies, line design, and lean tools.
* Strong analytical skills and data literacy (Excel, Power BI); experience with SAP/ERP or MES is a plus.
* Experience in managing or contributing to international projects is an added advantage.
* Fluent in English, other languages such as German or French would be an advantage.
