We are expanding our teams to take on SATCOM payload projects. Join GMV, an experienced technology group, to lead a consolidated team in the space sector and tackle new challenges.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Technical Director in overseeing all technical activities and strategic planning.
* Lead and manage the development of Ground Segment Software, ensuring the integration and functionality of various system components.
* Lead proposals related to the SATCOM domain.
* Analyze project requirements, develop detailed project plans, and ensure successful execution within scope, budget, and timelines.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in technical processes.
* Conduct regular technical reviews and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends, implementing relevant updates to enhance system performance.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in Ground Segment Software development with a system‑level perspective.
* Proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve technical challenges effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
* High level of English and basic level of French.
* Knowledge of SATCOM technologies: DTP, BFN, OBP; network 5G, LEO constellations, routing algorithms; link budgets, basic electronic and RF knowledge.
* Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and modern software development frameworks and practices.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
