Company Description We are currently looking for anInformatic Engineering Internto join CarboCode's Technology Transfer Center. This opportunity corresponds to a 6-month professional internship, co-financed by IEFP, aimed at integrating and developing young professionals in a dynamic and innovative technological environment. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will join a multidisciplinary team in Cantanhede and support the development, maintenance, and optimization of internal IT systems and digital infrastructure, contributing to the company's operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.Role Description • Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues. • Support the development and maintenance of internal software applications, servers, cloud and digital tools. • Contribute to the management and updating of IT equipment and software inventory. • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of ERP and other enterprise systems. • Contribute to cybersecurity best practices and data protection procedures. • Collaborate in process automation and digitalization projects across different departments. • Prepare technical documentation and user manuals when required.Qualifications • Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • Eligibility for a professional internship under IEFP regulations. • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar). • Basic understanding of databases (SQL) and information systems. • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. • Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team. • Knowledge of cybersecurity (antivirus, phishing, passwords). • Ability to speak and write English fluently.What Do We Offer: • 6-month professional internship co-financed by IEFP. • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a biotechnology company with international operations. • Collaborative and multidisciplinary work environment. • Possibility of professional growth and integration into the company, depending on performance and organizational needs.
