Fórum Selecção is recruiting a Business Support / Middle Office Purchasing Manager (M/F) for a client in the investment banking sector.
Job description: - Processes requests for technical assistance services;
- Provides user supportto Group companies, and more broadly to buyers in the Group's Purchasing department, as well as suppliers using the Purchasing IS;
- Contributes to the production of activity reports and customer relationship management.
By joining the Business Support team of the Purchasing & Services Group, your tasks will include: Handling requests for the purchase of intellectual technical assistance services via the Group's purchasing tool;
Handling and investigating user support requests (business lines, buyers, and suppliers) on the Purchasing IS and associated processes;
Contributing to the deployment of the IS within Group companies, in particular through user demonstrations and training;
Participating in the development of the system by identifying areas for optimization based on the analysis of user support requests, as well as those from the Business Support team;
Ensuring the quality of data on operations handled and/or managed by Business Support;
Contributing to cross-functional tasks within the Business Support department and, more broadly, the Purchasing Department and Group Purchasing.
Required profile - 2/3 year degree in management or purchasing, with similar experience in middle office, business support/user assistance, or procurement.
Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication skills are necessary to interact with the various people you will be dealing with.
A strong sense of customer service is key to success in this position.
- Given the use of and support provided for tools (Ivalua buyer, Docusign), a strong appetite for management applications is required;
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office & Teams;
- Experience in change management or training projects would be appreciated, and knowledge of the purchasing function and/or a specialization in purchasing is a plus;
- Written and spoken French and English are required.
Temporary project (approximately 6 months) Working hours: 9:00 a.M. to 6:00 p.M. Location: Porto
