Test Manager for Home Devices Job
This is a leadership role in testing activities focused on firmware validation for customer-premises equipment.
About the Role
* You will coordinate and support a team of testers working across agile projects, ensuring that software meets high standards of reliability and performance.
* You'll play a key role in defining testing strategies, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage testing efforts for software delivered by external partners.
* Define and implement effective test strategies aligned with project goals.
* Mentor and coordinate a team of testers, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
* Promote and integrate test automation tools and practices.
* Ensure quality across all phases of the testing lifecycle.
* Maintain clear and structured documentation of testing activities.
Requirements
* Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC/STLC.
* Experience with different testing types (regression, exploratory, UAT, etc.).
* Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools like Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
* ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
* Fluency in English.
