Steel Structure Inspector
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Structure Inspector to join our team in Sines, Portugal. As part of our QAQC activities, this role will support the quality assurance and control of major industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
* Perform QAQC inspections across construction, erection, and installation phases.
* Verify conformity with contractual requirements, execution plans, delivery dates, and manufacturing quality.
* Manage and update QAQC documentation using IT tools.
* Monitor KPIs and analyse data provided by construction contractors.
* Issue QAQC deliverables including Pre-Inspection Meeting reports, QCPs, CSHs, and others.
Requirements:
* Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Proficient in QAQC processes within steel structure construction projects.
* Skilled in reporting and documentation using digital tools.
* Experienced in interpreting and applying construction codes and standards.
* Knowledgeable in EN 1090 and ENDS standards.
* Certified as a Level II Visual Welding Inspector.
* Fluent in Spanish and English, with Portuguese also required.
