We are looking for a VBA Developer
As a
VBA Developer
, you will be working for our client, a leading bank in the banking and finance industry. This role involves developing and maintaining essential tools that facilitate daily financial operations. You'll contribute to innovative solutions and collaborate across teams in Porto, Lisbon, and Paris, fostering growth and technological advancement in the financial sector.
Your main responsibilities:
* Maintain and enhance local applications using VBA to ensure seamless daily operations.
* Develop new solutions leveraging Access, Excel, and Python to optimize workflows.
* Collaborate directly with business units to identify and implement system improvements.
* Monitor daily production alongside team members for reliable system performance.
* Participate in interviews and live coding tests with the Paris Expert Team to ensure quality standards.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in VBA development within finance or related industries.
* Strong proficiency in VBA for Excel and Access.
* Good SQL skills for database management and integration.
* Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, engaging effectively with business units.
* Knowledge of Python (nice to have).
* Experience with Commando (nice to have).
* French-speaking skills (nice to have).
