Receptionist Job Description
Pine Cliffs Resort seeks a skilled and courteous Receptionist to provide top-notch customer service and administrative support.
Job Responsibilities:
* Guest Check-Ins: Confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys to ensure a seamless guest experience.
* Payment Processing: Handle various payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit with ease and efficiency.
* Guest Communication: Answer and record all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
* Housekeeping Coordination: Track readiness of rooms for check-in to guarantee a smooth process.
* Parking Procedures: Communicate parking information to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
* Directional Assistance: Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest to enhance their stay.
* Daily Reports: Run reports on arrivals, departures, identify special requests, and verify reports for accuracy.
* Cash Handling: Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system, and cash personal checks and traveler's checks securely.
* Accounting and Balancing: Count bank at the beginning and end of shift, balance receipts according to Accounting specifications.
