About the Role Volup is on a mission to transform premium food delivery—and we're expanding fast in Lisbon.
We're looking for a Business Development & Account Manager who is not just commercially sharp but obsessed with food, deeply connected to the city's restaurant scene, and driven to win.
This is a role for someone who thrives independently, stays organized under pressure, and knows how to build strong, long-lasting relationships while closing deals in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do Your time will be divided between two main areas of responsibility, with an approximate 70% focus on acquisition and 30% on growing our top-tier partners' accounts.
Proactively identify and reach out to top restaurants, specialty stores, and well-known chefs in Lisbon.
Build and maintain a strong acquisition pipeline.
Lead discovery, negotiation, and closing conversations, negotiating win-win terms that set both the partner and Volup up for success.
Own and manage a portfolio of key, top-tier restaurant accounts in Lisbon.
Build long-term relationships with these partners that drive trust, loyalty, and performance.
Identify and execute upsell and optimization opportunities to grow their sales within the Volup ecosystem: new dishes, seasonal and time-limited menus, exclusive gourmet products, one-off experiences, and strategic offers.
Monitor KPIs (conversion, sales growth, customer satisfaction) and act on insights for both new and existing partners.
Be Volup's ambassador in the gastronomic community—build a presence, grow our network, and stay on the pulse of the market.
Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and improve the partner experience, ensuring a seamless launch and continued success.
What you bring Based in Lisbon, with 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, partnerships, or restaurant operations.
Deep passion for food and an intuitive grasp of how premium restaurants operate.
Highly independent, self-motivated, and accountable—you take initiative, follow through, and stay on top of the details.
Strong organizational skills—you can juggle pipelines, CRM updates, and follow-ups effortlessly.
Goal-oriented and energized by targets and deal-making.
A confident communicator who builds rapport easily and is persuasive.
Fluent in Portuguese and English.
Bonus points Existing network in the Lisbon hospitality industry.
Experience with CRM and performance tracking tools (e.G., Pipedrive, HubSpot).
Startup or scale-up experience.
Background in premium hospitality or the restaurant business.
