The BIRKENSTOCK Group is headquartered in Linz am Rhein and maintains several locations in Germany, as well as sales offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.ResponsibilitiesYou will independently manage and oversee all legal matters and projects (Legal Project Management), particularly in the following areas:Expansion and production site developmentTechnical procurementCompliance, ESG and local regulatory mattersEmployment law and labor relationsYou will coordinate and manage the interfaces between the local business, Global Legal and external local law firms.You will draft, review and negotiate contracts in the aforementioned areas.You will identify legal risks and develop practical, business-oriented recommendations for action.You will also support the further development of internal policies, processes, and compliance structures.ProfileYou have a degree in law or equivalent, ideally as a fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer with relevant experience.You have at least two years of professional experience in a comparable position, at a law firm or in the legal department of an international company.You have a strong understanding of relevant areas of law, and you handle complex contracts professionally with an in-depth knowledge of contract law.Ideally, you have experience providing legal support for construction projects and possess advanced knowledge of construction and architectural law, public law, and commercial lease law.You have excellent project management skills and work in a a structured, solution-oriented manner.You demonstrate strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with international stakeholders.You are fluent in English and negotiate confidently.We OfferBIRKENSTOCK offers you all the advantages of a successful, fast growing, global company: dynamic work environment, considerable design freedom, authentic and open corporate culture and excellent development opportunities.
