Clinical Study Nurse (code CSN-2725)
We're looking for a Clinical Study Nurse to join our Clinical Research team
This role will support both the coordination and investigation teams in the execution of clinical trials, performing clinical, operational, and documentation tasks to ensure high-quality study conduct and participant safety.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of clinical research activities — from participant care and sample collection to study documentation and regulatory support — working closely with investigators, study coordinators, and other research professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform physical assessments, administer study medication, and collect biological samples from study participants.
* Evaluate and report any adverse events or reactions to the Principal Investigator.
* Record all study-related activities in a complete and accurate manner.
* Collaborate with other members of the research team (investigators, coordinators, pharmacists, etc.) to ensure participant safety and protocol compliance.
* Support coordination activities, including:
o
Preparation and shipment of biological samples to local or central laboratories.
o Organization and maintenance of study files and documentation.
o
Preparation of materials for monitoring visits and audits.
o
Coordination of study materials' shipment, receipt, and storage.
o
Assistance with data collection, entry, and verification.
o
Support in study submissions to regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
Must Have:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, registered and authorized to practice in Portugal.
* Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Valued:
* Previous experience in clinical trials and/or clinical research.
* Master's or PhD degree.
* Documented scientific output (e.g., publications in peer-reviewed journals).
