Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and/or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Lead quality improvement projects within the Industrial Business Unit.
* Responsible for Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) across the entire value chain of the Industrial Business Unit.
* Analyze CoPQ in all areas: Plants, Warehouses, and Distribution Centers.
* Lead root cause analysis for CoPQ with multidisciplinary teams; propose corrective actions and measure effectiveness.
* Utilize problem-solving tools such as 6 Sigma, Ishikawa, 5 Whys during investigations.
* Develop and implement process improvements to reduce CoPQ.
* Lead CoPQ harmonization projects: data collection, reporting, analysis, and guideline development.
* Provide training and guidance across manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
* Share progress updates on initiatives periodically.
* Conduct audits to verify implementation of guidelines and follow up on action plans.
* Benchmark with other TE Business Units and market to introduce new quality initiatives.
* Support quality improvement projects and lead Kaizen events.
Candidate Background
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Industrial Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, such as: Continuous Improvement Specialist, Customer/Manufacturing Quality Specialist.
* Proven experience with SAP.
* Project management experience.
* Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
* Expertise in problem-solving tools: 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, IS/IS NOT, Kaizen.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Basic knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain fields.
* Team player, results-oriented, problem solver.
