Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and testing automation equipment in high-speed production lines.
Main Responsibilities:
* Equipment Installation: Install, test, and commission automation equipment, including single machines and complete production lines, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
* Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, prevent, and adopt corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and automated machines within high-speed production lines, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
* Technical Diagnostics: Perform precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams, and propose corrective actions to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
* Equipment Upgrades and Optimization: Administrate equipment upgrades and optimization, including hardware and software updates, to maintain peak performance and efficiency.
* Collaboration and Training: Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction, train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling, and report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites.
* Safety and Compliance: Comply fully with safety rules and regulations, with clear communications throughout interventions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical curiosity, eagerness to learn continuously, and field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job. Fluency in English is essential for working in a multicultural team.
