Your Role
Objective: Ensure the execution and continuous optimization of distribution operations at the Barreiro site, guiding all operational activities to achieve the best results in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and ensure the planning of the site's distribution;
* Ensure execution and develop/propose the best short/medium-term operational strategies;
* Prepare and oversee the implementation of investment plans in local infrastructure and maintenance measures;
* Plan and optimize costs and efficiency levels;
* Facilitate and mediate between different functions and stakeholders at the site, both internal and external to the organization;
* Lead the existing operations team and ensure efficient management of chemical product distribution at the site;
* Ensure that activities comply with Brenntag's safety standards, guaranteeing adherence to procedures and implementation of safety process improvement action plans;
* Manage and implement improvement plans in the areas of operations, quality, and safety at the site.
Your Profile
Skills
* Higher education in Chemistry, Safety, Production, or Industrial fields;
* Experience in team leadership and management;
* Minimum of 3–4 years of professional experience in similar roles;
* Experience in safety, preferably as a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician;
* Fluency in English;
* Spanish language skills are mandatory;
* Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement;
* Knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental management systems is valued;
* Basic knowledge of applicable legislation for products and transport is valued;
* Familiarity with SAP system is valued;
* Knowledge of the chemical distribution business area is valued.
