SAP ABAP Consultant (HR) – Freelance

At Shakers, we are partnering with a leading international retail group with strong operations across Europe and Latin America. This is a stable, large-scale environment where SAP plays a critical role in enabling HR processes across multiple countries.
We are looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant with strong HR focus to support the evolution and optimization of global HR solutions.
Project Scope
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP HR systems, ensuring technical robustness, compliance, and scalability across international operations.
Your work will include:
* Development and debugging of complex ABAP programs within SAP HR modules
* Translating functional requirements into solid technical specifications
* Supporting SAP SuccessFactors implementation and integration (SAP BIB)
* Coordinating external SAP developers when needed
* Supporting rollouts, updates, and system evolution
* Identifying improvement and standardization opportunities across HR processes
* Collaborating with HR and IT teams across Europe and South America
This is a hands-on technical role with impact on global HR technology strategy.
Requirements
* Solid experience in SAP ABAP development (2+ years) with strong exposure to SAP HR modules
* Proven ability to build, debug and optimize complex ABAP solutions
* Experience with SAP Business Integration Builder (BIB)
* Fluent Portuguese and English
