International Sales Manager
HBD Príncipe is a sustainable development and ecotourism group based on Príncipe Island, in São Tomé and Príncipe. Founded over a decade ago, our mission is to preserve what makes this 31-million-year-old volcanic island truly unique: its lush nature, its 'leve leve' pace of life, and the authenticity of its people.

Are you ready to be part of this mission?
We are seeking a senior International Sales Manager to drive the expansion and consolidation of our presence across priority international markets.
This role is instrumental in accelerating international revenue, building long-term strategic partnerships, and reinforcing the positioning of a premium and sustainability-driven hospitality portfolio. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong commercial execution and institutional representation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow international accounts, operators and agencies
* Identify and develop new strategic source markets
* Establish and negotiate high-value distribution partnerships
* Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale follow-up
* Execute market action plans aligned with global strategy
* Monitor trends, competitors and performance to identify growth opportunities
* Represent the brand at international events and industry platforms
* Organize Fam Trips and deliver training to partners
* Ensure brand positioning and value proposition consistency across markets
Main Objectives
* Increase revenue from priority international markets
* Strengthen qualified and sustainable distribution channels
* Expand presence within premium and niche segments
* Grow active accounts and new business pipeline
* Enhance international brand visibility and partner retention
Requirements
* Degree in Management, Tourism, Hospitality or related field (preferred)
* Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality commercial roles
* Proven experience in international sales and market development
* Strong network within international operators and distributors
* Experience in premium/luxury or remote destinations (valued)
* Strategic sales planning and market analysis capabilities
* Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages are a plus)
* Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis
