First Point Group is recruiting for a Technical Sales Account Manager with a presales / solution engineering / solution architecture background in relation to BSS Architectures (specifically SaaS API Integrations and configurations).
This is an exciting opportunity for a technical adept Account Manager that enjoys a blend of technical discussions, account management (70%) and new business development (30%).
It is essential that you have the technical depth to lead meaningful, consultative conversations with C-level stakeholders and the successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience working in companies providing B2B SaaS-based software solutions for Enterprise companies.This is 100% remote working and a chance chance to work with an international provider of complex software solutions to some of the world's leading companies across different industry verticals.
The key accounts that you will manage include companies based in America, meaning you must be OK working flexible hours and against against American timezone.PLEASE NOTE - sponsorship can not be provided.
Candidates must live in Portugal with valid rights to work.THE OPPORTUNITY70% farming - this is a customer-focused Key Account Manager position, you will be introduced to existing strategic accounts and be responsible for developing and expanding business within these accounts.30% hunting - this role may evolve with an increase in hunting activity as the account base matures and new opportunities are identified.You will work with Tier-1 and Tier-2 telecom operators and enterprise customers across different industry verticals, managing long-term relationships, driving adoption of SaaS solutions, and identifying expansion opportunities across products, regions, and use cases.RESPONSIBILITIESOwn and manage a portfolio of strategic international key accounts, with an initial focus on account growth, retention, and expansionAct as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, building trusted, long-term relationshipsDrive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across software modules, features, and servicesManage complex enterprise stakeholders, including technical, commercial, and executive decision-makersCoordinate internally with pre-sales, product, delivery, and support teams to ensure successful customer outcomesLead renewals and commercial negotiations, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and recurring revenue growthIdentify and develop new business opportunities within existing customers, transitioning into light hunting over timeWork effectively across multiple time zones, including regular interaction with US-based customersMaintain accurate forecasting and account planning in CRM systemsEXPERIENCEMinimum of 10+ years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager / Account Manager / Customer Success–led commercial role within: SaaS / Telco software / OSS / BSS / network intelligence / analytics platformsStrong background in farming existing enterprise accounts, with demonstrable growth and retention successExperience managing international customers; exposure to US and/or APAC accounts is highly desirableComfortable working flexible hours to support customers in American time zonesExperience selling complex, high-value software solutions with long sales cyclesStrong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management capabilityAbility to operate in a scale-up or high-growth vendor environmentSelf-motivated, structured, and comfortable working autonomously
