Main Tasks:
* Working with technology and third-party vendors to fine-tune scenarios from which trade alerts are derived, troubleshooting issues, and working towards achieving goals.
* Establishing and maintaining written procedures and governance processes around trade surveillance.
* Driving the enhancement and improvement of programs from both effectiveness and efficiency perspectives.
* Collaborating with line of business supervisors, first-line defense employees, and compliance managers.
* Conducting deep-dive investigations of potential issues when necessary.
* Keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, internal policy updates, and disciplinary actions to ensure the monitoring system incorporates current search techniques, rules, lexicons, and attributes.
* Planning enhancements internally and with third-party vendors to incorporate statistical methods, machine learning, and AI into monitoring tools.
* Preparing metrics to report monitoring results to senior management, including identifying potential trends or themes for further consideration or action.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or a relevant area.
* Over 3 years of management experience.
* Advanced knowledge in surveillance, compliance, and financial markets.
* Fluent English is mandatory.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Bloomberg and Refinitiv experience is a plus.
