Job Title: Cash Control Specialist
Join a dynamic team of professionals as we embark on an exciting new project in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Cash Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' cash transactions.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cash Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing internal requests and third-party communications related to cash transfers, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues. You will also be responsible for formalizing actions in our core banking system and managing client requests through helpdesk tickets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze internal requests received by the front office/middle office linked to cash transfer activity (incoming and outgoing payments)
* Analyze the requests received by the third parties (through MTN95/96/99) and mainly related to cash transfer activity
* Take the necessary action to solve the problems/issues
* Formalize the action in our core banking system (opening, monitoring and closing of investigation files with a result obligation)
* Management of client request through the Helpdesk tickets (linked to the investigations file)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in banking operations, with a focus on cash transfers
* A degree in Finance or Business
* Client Service orientation
* The ability to leverage technical expertise to provide quality processing and solutions to our clients
* A strong communication channel with clients and stakeholders
* The ability to ensure that controls are performed according to procedure
* A deep understanding of cash processing and the ability to demonstrate it
