Your mission will be...
Accept incoming goods and compare them with the shipping document (material number, description, quantity).
Check incoming goods for visible damage, document them, and provide the information if required.
Take care of the correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
Capture relevant data in data processing systems.
Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and record them in the appropriate systems.
Organize a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
Assemble deliveries from given storage compartments and review for completeness and accuracy (e.g., quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
Complete packaging of deliveries in line with shipping instructions, common dispatch methods, packaging types, and other instructions (e.g., Dangerous Goods) within the given framework.
Add the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
Complete transports inside and, if applicable, outside the premises with professional use of appropriate means of transportation.
We are looking for someone with...
Experience in warehouse cargo handling.
License/certification to operate lifting equipment (preferred).
Minimum education level: 12th grade (high school diploma).
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (user level).
Resilience and physical stamina.
