Dare to Have:
* Strong experience in data quality testing and validation and building automated test frameworks
* Hands-on experience with Power BI including DAX expressions, Power Query M, data modeling, and understanding how Power BI connects to various data sources.
* Proficient with Python for test automation, data validation scripting and working with data
* Working knowledge on dbt, Spark and AWS
* Solid understanding and hands-on experience in data engineering: incl. SQL, dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and data warehouse concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, data pipeline architecture, and how data flows from source systems through transformation layers to reporting.
* Experience in testing and validating data performance of pipelines and reports (fast analytics)
* Experience with GitLab

* Conduct comprehensive testing of data models and transformations across analytics and reporting layers.
* Validate data integrity and accuracy within data warehouses and data lakes.
* Perform functional and regression testing of Power BI reports, dashboards and data extracts.
* Partner with business analysts and developers to ensure business logic and requirements are accurately represented within schematic data models.
* Leverage advanced SQL skills to query, validate, and troubleshoot complex data issues across multiple data sources.
* Manage and enhance ELT testing activities, contributing to the validation and quality assurance of end-to-end data pipelines.
* Validate performance of data pipelines and reports; perform load and capacity tests
Document and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, Jira issues, and reports to document outcomes and provide actionable feedback for improvements.
