About the JobBNP Paribas Wealth Management (WM) runs a competence centre in Lisbon – the Portugal International Markets Hub (PIMH) – that supports the Head Office (HO) and other key locations across Switzerland, Luxembourg and France. The team in Portugal – 4 people – is looking to reinforce its operational control team with aWM HO Investment Services Operational Risk Officer. The role supports the Paris HO operations and aligns with the broader Wealth Management business.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and assist the Responsible of Investment Services HO Operational Permanent Control (OPC) – 70% of the time on control tasks, 30% on transversal duties.Collaborate regularly with WM HO teams: Investment Services, Risk, Compliance and Legal representatives.Document gathering and stakeholder interviews.Execute controls as per the control plan.Write summaries of control results and present them to asset-class heads.Input control documentation and results into risk tools (e.G., Risk 360).Manage control exemptions in the "Exemption tool" (CET tool).Follow up on action plans with stakeholders to close them by deadlines.Create and update controls in collaboration with asset-class sponsors.Update and monitor control exemptions.Contribute to Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) mapping and perform yearly RCSA analysis for Investment Services (IS) (HO IS and BNP Property).Support drafting and periodic update of investment services procedures (asset classes and activities).Profile & QualificationsMaster's Degree in Finance or Economics.Up to 5 years of experience in management control, audit or operational risk management.Strong knowledge of controls, audit, inspection or organizational processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Fluency in English.Excellent communication, analytical, rigorous, dynamic and autonomous.Strong organisational and responsible approach.Capacity to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.Company OverviewBNP Paribas is a leading bank in the Eurozone and a prominent international financial institution with more than 188,000 employees in 75 countries across 5 continents.
