MISSION:

Assists in proactively leading all day-to-day activities related to international MICE sales for all the UHM properties with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing Sales Activities

1. Manages UHM proactive sales efforts with a key focus on International MICE business (Predominantly the UK and US market)
2. Proactively source new group and event business opportunities across key MICE segments (Corporate, Association, Incentives, etc.) through direct sales, networking, and strategic outreach.
3. Represents the company and its portfolio of properties at international trade shows, industry events, sales missions, and client roadshows.
4. Builds and maintains strong relationships with MICE agencies, corporate planners, and event organizers in assigned markets.
5. Identifies and converts new business leads into confirmed group bookings, focusing on long-term revenue growth and high-quality business mix.
6. Conducts regular sales trips and client visits in target markets, ensuring active presence and visibility in the industry.
7. Maintains in-depth knowledge of all event and meeting facilities, room configurations, service offerings, and unique selling points across all properties.
8. Collaborates closely with property-based sales and events teams to ensure smooth handover and seamless execution of confirmed business.
9. Maintains accurate records in CRM tools, provide market intelligence, and prepare activity and forecast reports as required.
10. Contributes to the annual sales strategy and budgeting process with insights from market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
11. Serves as the sales contact for MICE customers;

serves as the customer advocate.
12. Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
13. Researches competitor's sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and RevPAR and increase market share.
14. Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share.
