Mission:Assists in proactively leading all day-to-day activities related to national and international sales for all the UHM properties(Pine Cliffs Resort, Hyatt Lisbon, Sheraton Cascais and Yotel Porto) with a focus on buildinglong-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of objectives.Main Responsabilities:- Manages the development of a strategic account plan for the demandgenerators in the designated market
* Manages proactive sales efforts with a key focus on National and International business
* Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Researches competitor's sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and Rev PAR and increase market share.
* Attends sales strategymeetings to provideinput on weeklyand overall salesstrategy.
* Suggests innovative marketing ideas and developsdeployment strategies to continue to grow marketshare.
* Evaluates and supportsparticipation and accountdeployment with Regional Director of Sales
* Serves as the sales contactfor customers; servesas the customer advocate.
* Proactively travels and conducts salescalls to acquirenew business and/orclose on business.
* Executes and supportsbrands Service Standardsand hotel's Brand Standards.
* Executes and supportsthe operational aspectsof business booked.
* Implements seamless turnoverfrom sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service.
* Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues,controlling expenses and providing a return on investment for the owner and UHM Hospitality.
* Implements the brand'sservice strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspectsof the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel's' sales objectives.
* Performs other duties,as assigned, to meet businessneeds.
* Partners with regionalteam to help implement the market's leisurestrategy at key buying locations.
* Verifies local marketstrategy is in alignment with the overallaccount goals.
* Develops strong partnerships with local organizations to further increasebrand/product awareness.
* Develops and managesinternal key stakeholder relationships.
* Develops strong communityand public relations by maintaining propertyparticipation in local,regional and national tradeshows and client events.
* Executes exemplary customerservice to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and monitoring their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
* Serves the customerby understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate featuresand services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
* Gains understanding of the hotel'sprimary target customerand service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solutionsboth prior to, and during the event.Key Requirements:
