VAVA, one of the leading premium/ luxury independent eyewear brands founded in 2014, is hiring a Sales Manager. As the most important interface for our customers, you will demonstrate your passion for our products and act as a brand ambassador for VAVA.

Based in Porto, the role will require deep understanding of wholesale and B2C systems and best practices.

You will follow the lifecycle of wholesale and B2C orders from selling to delivery and after-sales care. As the main point of contact for logistical questions this role will require regular communication with stores, as well as oversight of third-party logistics partners and great teamwork with colleagues within your immediate team and the wider VAVA business.

Therefore, you will be responsible for building sales, to create solid processes and global projects, to build engaging campaigns & experiences for our customer and target audiences.

You will be part of a sales team dedicated to growing the sales but as well the awareness and authority of VAVA. This truly is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing international wholesale business (B2B).

We are looking for a motivated Sales Manager to join our retail team with focus on the organization.

What you can expect:

· Research and monitor the markets to discover new retailers and potential partners for growth with Retail Team to reach the goals, evaluate current stocklists.

· Selling VAVA's collection, raise invoices, credit notes and return authorizations

· Gather orders from clients after selling campaigns and tradeshows (Paris, Milan. New York and Tokyo), enter the data onto our IT ERP system with perfect accuracy

· Confirm orders with clients (mainly opticians and fashion concept stores) and our production team, create Order Confirmations and gather Purchase Orders from clients~

· Design a strategic commercial plan that expands VAVA's customer base and ensure its strong presence;

· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;

· Establishment of goals and strategies directed to the international sales agents

· Manage and support sales agents by assigned region/market to create a win-win solution, and guarantee an accurate sample set and reports;

· Achieve growth and hit sales targets

· Management of existing clients and prospection of new ones (Opticians, Concept and Department Stores);

· Preparation of market feedback;

· Be an ambassador for our brand, demonstrating excellent product knowledge and always communicating professionally

· Draft account plans and set targets for assigned countries;

· Develop, drive and execute strategic planning for key accounts;

· Analyze specific market needs for all lines;

· Take care of sales reports and analysis;

· Establishment of the Sales Forecast per market and globally;

· Execute system reporting / Intake of Preorder / Stock planning figures, Monitoring of sell-in, Coordination of appointments,

· Collect KPI's incl. Analysis, Definition of targets and action plans by region/customer, Manage and execute Product & Sales Training, Set up of training material, Perform sales support on important key account POS, planning and follow up according to all relevant KPI ́s

· Participation in the main international trade fairs, e.g. Paris, Milan, Tokyo and New York;

· Execute the relevant collection feedbacks, Ensure the correct product assortment for our business partners; seek market opportunities and give collections/performance feedback to the headquarters to make sure that market opportunities are covered

· Join forces with production team to work on wholesale and recommended retail prices for new collections.

Job requirements:

· A bachelor level or a master degree in related area;

· Pratical and solution orientated personality;

· Strong communication skills with clients & partners

· Solid analytical and organizational skills; analyze, set directions and execute;

· Ability to work independently and under pressure, think in solutions with 'hands-on' and ́can do ́ mentality;

· Written and verbal communication in English is requested

· Computer literate and preferred understanding in digital way of selling, good knowledge of MS Office

· Experience using retail software (ERP)

· Flexibility to work beyond your job description in order to support the wider business and to develop your skills and knowledge

· No barriers for flexible working hours and travel

Bonus points:

· Passion for fashion and design in the eyewear or fashion industry;

· Fluency in a second language – German, Spanish and / or French ideal;

· Demonstrate sensibility for contemporary art and design;

· Demonstrates social responsibility, highly sensitive to sustainability, great sense of ethics;

· Experience in social and/ or environment action projects.
