Life sciences knowledge is a plus — but a proven sales track record comes first.
ABOUT LYNX2MARKETLynx2Market (UK) organises international partnering events for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry — connecting companies for BD, licensing, distribution, M&A and investment deals.
Our events bring together C-suite and commercial executives from leading pharma companies across Europe, MENA and beyond.
THE ROLEWe are looking for an experienced Event Sales Executive to join our team on a freelance contract basis.
You will be engaging senior pharmaceutical and life sciences executives and converting them into confirmed event participants.
This is not an entry-level role.
You need to understand the B2B events sales cycle, know how to engage a busy C-suite executive, and close without hand-holding.
Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese alongside English is essential.
Competitive base retainer plus uncapped commission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Own and develop a pipeline of pharmaceutical and life sciences companies in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets- Conduct proactive outbound outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn to C-suite and senior commercial executives- Qualify prospects and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reporting- Represent Lynx2Market at international industry events where required (occasional travel) WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Minimum 3–5 years of B2B event sales experience — sponsorship, delegation, exhibition or event sales strongly preferred- Knowledge of the life sciences, pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is a plus — if not, we will provide the training you need to understand the industry and speak its language- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English — all three are essential- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets- Comfortable and confident engaging C-suite and VP-level executives across different cultures- Self-directed, disciplined and effective working independently in a remote environment- Well organised, with strong pipeline management and follow-through- Familiarity with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator CONTRACT TERMS- Freelance contract — you invoice Lynx2Market monthly- Competitive base retainer + uncapped commission on closed deals- Fully remote with flexible working arrangements- Occasional travel to international events may be required- Full onboarding and ongoing support provided HOW TO APPLYSend your CV and a short covering note to
