Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and passionate Legal Advisor specializing in real estate law to join our team in Cascais, Portugal. As a Legal Advisor, you will handle daily legal activities and report to the headquarters Legal Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry and contribute to our company's rapid growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on ongoing matters in Portugal.
- Prepare, file, and oversee legal actions and activities.
- Maintain legal files and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Ensure the company's compliance with applicable legislation.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to the company.
- Draft legal opinions, memorandums, and briefing documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence on properties and companies, and draft reports.
- Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts and terms.
- Monitor legislation relevant to short-term rental management.
- Manage legal interactions with governmental bodies and local authorities.
- Liaise with notary offices and oversee outsourced law firms.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- At least 5 years of experience in real estate, retail, or commercial industries.
- Knowledge of local HR legislation.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and good administrative skills.
