Nortempo Porto is currently looking for an Accountant (m/f) for a client in the area of Porto.
RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
1. Ensure on time client invoices following all established procedures
2. Ensure clear and frequent communication with Client
3. Keep track of invoicing status: Proformas, Invoiced & Paid
4. Maintain proper archiving
5. Update client as per open balances and any queries raised
6. Client’s accounts reconciliations
7. Support and coordinate the closing tasks
8. Engage with different disciplines inside SBM, to provide fully support to the Management
9. Liaises with client and operations teams as required to ensure smooth communication and planning
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Specific skills / expertise / product:
1. Education: Master’s degree in finance/accounting
2. Experience (functions, duration): at least 2 years’ experience in an international related environment
3. Good knowledge on Excel and ERP Software (SUN-Integra, IFS)
4. Analytical skills and critical thinking
5. Able to work with various internal and external stakeholders
6. Fluent English, and other languages are a plus
