Job Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in application performance monitoring, incident resolution, and IT infrastructure support.
* Provide Level 2/3 application support, ensuring smooth operation and performance of enterprise applications.
* Monitor application health and infrastructure using Dynatrace, proactively identifying and resolving performance issues.
* Troubleshoot and optimize SQL/MySQL databases, ensuring efficient query execution and database performance.
* Perform system administration tasks on Unix/Linux environments, handling scripts, logs, and server configurations.
* Support and enhance cloud-based deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability in cloud environments.
* Automate operational tasks using Ansible, improving efficiency and reducing manual interventions.
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage Jenkins pipelines, ensuring smooth application deployments.
* Work with monitoring and alerting tools to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement solutions.
* Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure best practices, optimizing system configurations and security measures.
* Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 6+ years of experience in Application Support, IT Operations, or Infrastructure Management.
* Strong expertise in SQL/MySQL for database support, query optimization, and performance tuning.
* Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments, including scripting and system administration.
* Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for supporting cloud-based applications.
* Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
* Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management and deployment automation.
* Practical experience in application and infrastructure monitoring using Dynatrace.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and system performance optimization.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
