Role Description:
As part of DEC business line (Derivatives Execution & Clearing), the account manager must handle back-office activities on his scope:
Clearing Houses vs Back Office Reconciliations check (margins, premiums, positions, initial margins);
Ensure reports sent to clients are reliable;
Ensure that all clients related issues, queries and request are addressed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner;
Monitoring of corporate action events impacting the underlying contracts;
Maintenance of the accountancy balance (CCP vs client cash flows);
Communication management (email, phone, …).
Participate in projects to drive the business forward to deliver internal or market system releases (Market releases, MO/BO tools enhancements…).
Produce procedures and monthly key performance indicators.
Support the training of newcomers.
Confirm that the checklists are done and updated accordingly
Main Responsibilities:
Monitoring the different types of client requests;
Clearing Houses vs Back Office Reconciliations check (margins, payments, positions);
Be the 1st point of contact for all counterparties (clients, brokers, CCPs) with regards the financial delivery process;
Interact with all needed internal and/or external entities in order to get additional information for unidentified entries; and maintain Communication Channels with internal business teams;
Escalate unresolved open items to the Team Leader; understand the risks inherent to the daily activity and the existing Control Framework to mitigate the risks identified and take corrective measures/actions along with the Team Leader;
