For Calipo Hotel, we are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the operations of Calipo Restaurant and the Palacio - two distinctive dining spaces combining farm-to-table dining, events and warm hospitality in the heart of the Alentejo.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, building teams, and shaping guest experiences while keeping a sharp eye on the numbers.
The role includes:
• Leading daily F&B operations across restaurant, bar and events
• Developing a strong service culture and guest loyalty
• Working closely with the chef on seasonal menus and pricing
• Driving profitability through cost control and team engagement
• Recruiting, coaching and developing the service team
Profile
• Minimum 5-8 years' F&B leadership experience, including at least 3 years as Restaurant Director or General Manager in a quality restaurant or hotel
• Proven track record of operational and financial success in multi-outlet or high-volume environments
• Strong leadership, communication and team development skills
• Deep understanding of dining culture, bistronomie and local terroir
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (French nice to have)
• Holds the required qualification to supervise apprentices and interns
