The Opportunity: As Key Account Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting the company's products through direct contact with healthcare professionals and other healthcare providers. You will provide Medical Information and other specific information about products in public and private health units in your assigned geographic territory. In this role, you will be a vital part of the implementation of the marketing plan. Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain relationships detail to groups of doctors and healthcare professionals through regular and systematic contacts and interactions.
2. Works strategically in order to increase the notoriety and reputation of the pharmaceutical products of the company in the assigned therapeutic and geographical area.
3. Responsible for achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets in the accounts under your responsibility.
4. Develop the assigned area - detailing products in all therapeutic areas of the company; allocating time resources in alignment with the goals and strategy of the affiliate; setting together with the Sales manager integrated plans at account level in collaboration with Medical function where appropriate and following Astellas policies.
5. Initiate and organize other supporting actions (promotional meetings, sponsorship, etc.).
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
6. Extensive experience as a Sales Representative or similar role.
7. Knowledge and experience in the North/Center region, Accounts/Hospitals.
8. Fluent in Portuguese and good command of English.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
9. Knowledge and experience in the specialties of Haematology, Oncology, and Solid Organ Transplantation.
Education/Qualifications:
10. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

12. The position is based in Oporto, Portugal.
13. This position is field based in North/Center region of Portugal and 80% travel is expected in line with your role.
