Job Title Senior Category Manager – Performance Line, Beds & Linen Location Lisboa, Lisbon Metropolitan Area, Portugal About the Role As a (Senior) Category Manager for our Performance Line within the Beds & Linen Category, you will own the European assortment strategy for one of our most innovation‐forward product ranges—defined by high-performance design and material innovation. You'll own the Performance Line's commercial strategy by defining where to play (which customer segments, channels, countries, etc.) and how to win (product & price strategy, supply chain setup, product marketing strategy, etc.). Key Responsibilities Drive commercial growth and category performance for Beds within the Beds & Linens team. Pair deep market & customer insights with internal company capabilities to define concrete winning 4Ps – product, price, place, and promotion – for the assortment. Define the right products and features at the right quality & cost levels for sustained profitable growth. Define the assortment between e-commerce, offline channels, and wholesalers to maximize coverage while minimizing channel conflict and cannibalization. Identify key communication levers for the target customer segment to maximize profitable awareness‐to‐conversion. Work with the necessary teams to define, test, and scale various go‐to‐market executions for each of the 4Ps. Align central teams and countries around clear priorities, product launches, updates & phase‐outs, and product promotional initiatives. Act as a strategist and project manager, working closely in project or squad teams with domain/functional experts to ensure the strategy is properly defined, executed, and refined. Who we are looking for 4+ years of experience in category management, assortment planning, product marketing, or product management, ideally from consumer goods organizations. Strong business acumen with a sharp eye for understanding and prioritizing key commercial levers. Demonstrated experience leading end‐to‐end product launches and managing full product lifecycles (PLC). Strong understanding of omnichannel retail, with experience balancing offline retail and D2C/online channel requirements. Structured, data‐driven, and confident working with cross‐functional stakeholders across markets. Innate curiosity for understanding consumer preferences, going beyond the obvious to find winning "a‐ha" insights for a winning strategy. Ability to pair deep insight & knowledge with pragmatism to craft commercial tests and go‐to‐market plans within reasonable budgets and timelines. Passion about the nitty‐gritty of products, without necessarily being a product engineer, designer, or developer. Owned your own category, product, or brand P&L and successfully grown it profitably.
