Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be part of an international unit that supports PwC Luxembourg's clients. Our unit operates as an acceleration center in Portugal.
Our main goal is to provide high-quality services to our clients by leveraging the talent pool based in Matosinhos. We have developed an operating model that ensures scalability, consistency, and quality in service delivery.
Our range of services includes Assurance Audit, Broader Assurance Services, Tax, and Advisory. You will play a crucial role in working on international clients such as Asset Management and Banking.
One of your key responsibilities will be to collaborate with professionals from both the business and technology teams to assist clients in assessing operational risks related to business processes, applications, and risk management framework. You will also be involved in internal control review assignments covering various business processes for clients in the financial, private, and public sectors.
Additionally, you will perform risk assessments, process, and internal control reviews to improve the operational risk management and internal controls framework of clients. You will also work on tasks related to the internal controls surrounding the IT environment to support the financial reporting process.
As part of your development growth, you will learn how to perform a financial audit and work as part of the financial audit team.
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Economics, or other related studies)
* Leadership, interpersonal, communication, and good writing skills
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* A team player and keen learner
* A good command of Microsoft Office
* Fluency in English
