Android Developer - Hybrid work model in Aveiro Requirements Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mobile development with strong expertise in native Android (Kotlin). Solid experience with Coroutines, Flows, and concurrency/state management. Proven experience integrating hardware SDKs (preferably RFID, barcode, or scanning devices). Familiarity with messaging systems such as MQTT. Strong debugging and problem‐solving skills, particularly in complex environments. Good practices in testing, code quality, and peer code reviews. Experience using GitHub and continuous integration workflows. Nice to Have Experience with industrial RFID devices (e.g., Zebra, Bluebird ). Knowledge of EPC/GS1 standards and RFID filtering techniques. Experience with Clean Architecture / MVVM and modular codebases. Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and feature flags. Experience designing for offline‐first or limited connectivity environments. Responsibilities Develop and maintain reusable RFID libraries and modules for multiple Android applications. Integrate and stabilize SDKs for RFID readers, barcode scanners, and similar hardware devices. Implement reading processes optimized for consistency, reliability, and performance. Diagnose and resolve intermittent issues related to application lifecycle and state management (Kotlin). Define and maintain observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracking. Ensure software quality through unit testing, instrumentation testing, and regression testing. Collaborate with Product teams to translate production issues into technical improvements.
