Job Purpose
As part of the Corporate Insight Department under the Marketing Strategy Division, the Market Intelligence Associate is responsible for gathering data, conducting research, and providing analysis relevant to the industry and markets within which Fujitsu operates.
Typical projects focus on market trends and the competitive landscape to inform Fujitsu's business positioning and strategy. The role supports Business Units and Regional strategies as needed. It requires a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset capable of translating complex information into actionable insights.
The Market Intelligence Associate reports to the Market Intelligence Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct research and create insightful reports based on inquiry requests from internal stakeholders.
2. Support decision-making by working closely with business managers across headquarters, business groups, units, and regions to provide strategic, actionable, and timely market insights.
3. Manage research projects from scope to delivery, working independently with limited guidance.
4. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments by monitoring news sources, analyst reports, and thought leadership, bringing a strong understanding of both business and IT landscapes.

Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory
- At least 12 months experience in a professional Market Intelligence organization; knowledge of research functions in the IT market is a plus.
- Experience working with analyst firms and external research providers.
- Cross-cultural and international experience.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and internal teams based on trust and credibility.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research techniques, deriving meaningful insights and translating them into actionable recommendations.
- Critical and strategic thinking skills, including assessing situations, drawing conclusions, and proposing innovative solutions.
- Fluent English (business level).
