We are looking for our new Territory Sales Manager in Portugal (Coimbra – Porto – Aveiro).
GOAL AND OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The goal of this position is to promote a product or service through existing and new channels to persuade the sales reps of the distributors to sell and end users to purchase it, to maximize the organization's ability to make a sale based on knowledge of the customer and to handle professional with the (potential) customer to turn the contact into a sale and/or an ongoing customer relationship, all in order to achieve the defined sales targets. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the responsibility of the Senior Territory Sales Manager for Portugal, you will be in charge of:
* Make calls to end users, both individually and jointly with the distributors, analyze the end users' needs in a professional way and offer the most appropriate solution
* Achieve sales targets
* Motivate and support existing and new distributors according to the annual operations plan
* Communicate internally any significant trend or opportunity in the market to sales, marketing and product development
* Constantly evaluate the market(s) in order to keep and/or expand the distributor network
* Coach the distributors' sales teams and introduce new products
* Work in close relation with the Customer Service Sales Representative for the area
* Document all customer and distributor interaction in the CRM database (Salesforce)
* Establish and maintain commercial agreements with Brady customers within the Brady pricing and distribution policy for the assigned territory
* Agree distributor-marketing activity programs within the company's marketing strategy and budget with our channel manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum Bachelor degree or similar by experience and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally having sold safety / maintenance products in Portugal for the industry, to distributors and/or to end users
LANGUAGES: Mother tongue Portuguese, good knowledge of spoken and written English and Spanish is a plus
