Eligibility:

We are looking for a Senior Backup Expert to act as a technical reference for enterprise backup and recovery solutions, working closely with infrastructure and database teams.
Profile:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior backup or systems administration role.
Strong expertise with IBM TSM / Storage Protect and TSM Manager.
Solid experience with IBM tape libraries and tape technologies.
Advanced knowledge of backup, restore, and archiving concepts.
Scripting skills (Bash, KornShell, Python, or Perl).
Experience with RMAN, TDP, and database-related backup tools.
Knowledge of DB2 and SQL scripting.
Responsibilities:
Design, operate, and optimize enterprise backup and archive solutions.
Manage and maintain backup platforms based on IBM TSM / IBM Storage Protect.
Administer tape libraries and ensure reliable tape management processes.
Work closely with infrastructure teams (Network, Wintel, Security) to ensure end-to-end reliability.
Provide process documentation and training to business and technical stakeholders.
